'I am installing the gear legs onto the fuselage of my 24 project and I
am stumped regarding the hook up of the bake lines. I have an orginal
setup with the Hayes wheels and brakes. The hard line in in the gear
strut and connects to a flex line at the fuselage. My question is
should the flex line extend out of the fueslage or should the hardline
in the strut extend into the fuselage and then connect to the flex
line????? PLEASE HELP!!!! JON'

I had the gear leg off my R46 recently. The flex hose is through the
fuselage. The connection to the descending brake tubing is just
before the gear leg opening so it can be connected/disconnected. I
have a rubber grommet at the gear leg opening to keep the tubing
from rattling around.
