Here's something you all can add to your Fall Activity List! The Cape Pilots Club will be hosting a Fly-In / Chili Cook-Off / Fund Raiser on Saturday, October 11, 2008 (with a rain date of the following Sunday)!!!!!

Papa John is involved in this, so there no need for me to describe to you Airport Folks what kind of treat is in store for you! But, for those who might not know him...Papa John is a SERIOUS Barbecue and Chili Creator (and Competitor)...so, the bar is gonna be set mighty high for this Cook-Off!

You will also be able to purchase tickets to win the fantastic, one-of-a-kind painting of Cape's A-4 Sky Hawk, created (in oil, I believe) and donated by our own Mary Russell ! This ain't no poster to tack on the wall of your shop! If I win it, I'm gonna buy it it's own frame-light, and enshrine it over my computer table!

There will probably be plenty of cool Sport and General Aviation Aircraft to check out also, and there's a good chance that Doctor Paul will be buzzing back and forth in his Brantley Helicopter, and who knows who else will show up.

So, mark your calendars, and get down to the Ole Airport for this fun get-together!
