Re: NEW MEMBER ausian24
'Ian Kearsley, I have a 1938 short nosed Fairchild F-24 with the serial number 3309. It is in flying shape except that it is down for an annual that includes new ignition harness and wires and some future radio installations.
I have not flown it since I put it away, last fall. It runs a little hotter than I would like, but, I hate to consider putting the oil cooler down under the cowling for better airflow. It flies well and attracts attention at the local airports.
I used to visit some friends who lived at Griffith, out west of Sidney.
