Bearing question Pls...

'I'm replacing some of the hinge bearings on my ailerons with Univair's
CS3906 type. They're a good fit and all is going well, but the
bearings in the short push/pull rod seem to be a different type.
Either mine is really trashed bad, or they're a different type. Looks
like they would have to swivel a little to stay inline. Almost like a
universal joint. Part's manuals are no help here. Thanks in advance,
