'I have a 3/4" NPT plug on the top-rear left-hand corner of my cam box
(on the top) that I'm considering using for the return line for a
separator. I don't know what that tap was originally used for but,
since this is an experimental installation, would this be a good
location for the return line? What are other folks using?

'Mike, I used a fitting on the side of intake cam cover to return
the condensed oil fumes. Be sure

It line goes into a non pressure area in the cam boxes. There should be
enough height in the line to keep

The separator dry. If the separator is located above or on the same plane
as the oil pump your will be ok.

I think what you're saying is the "intake" side of the cam box. That's the
one I'm talking about. However, I didn't know there ware ANY part of the
cam box that was pressurized. I believe the entire cam box cavity is
drained by the scavange pump. Not so?
