E-80 o'haul

Post by Michael Danielle »

'Rats! I lost the contact I had from years back - an outfit recommended
by Al Ball to work on the clutch on my E-80 starter.

As I recall they were in California and they degreased and adjusted the
clutch and shipped it back for $75.

It needs the treatment again. Anybody out there know what company this
might be?

Alternatively, anyone had the experience of doing the work themselves
and can tell me how it's done? I don't like to mess with something
that's worth that much without some kind of roadmap. Experimental
aircraft - I could do the work.

Thanks,
Mike'

'Mike: I believe the company that repairs E-80 starters would be: RB Sales, Van Nuys, CA 818 785-5459. Bill Spriggs
