'Remko,

#5 is the hottest. 2nd cyl back. Also make sure your installation has the additional bump on the inside, left side. This creates a higher pressure to direct air across the #5 cylinder.

'Remko,

I have never seen a drawing, only know about it for experience. The Denest's may be able to shed some light from the Ranger side, most likley from the PT side of the house. I bet it started with the Mil.

'Remko,
The "bumps" are a strip of aluminum that is attached to the access door of the Ranger airbox. If you don't have this, you need to find a door with the bumps. This is standard on all Ranger installations as a way to force cooling air through the cylinders. Send me a picture of what you have.

'Mike,
The access door of the airbox is just straight from front till back.
nothing attached to it.

Over here in Europe it will be impossible to find another door.If
this really improves cooling,I will have to make it myself I guess.
If I could get some dimensions and a drawing, this should be possible
I hope.

Or is there someone out there who has a lead to finding the right
access door?

Thanks,

Remko

'Remko,

Did you get the two pictures I have sent to your e-mail adress this
morning? It will answer most of your questions.
I can measure the details and send them to you.
