Warner oil pump connections

'Which connection of the Warner 165 oil pump goes to where? Looking at
the back of the engine, there are 2 large oil hose connections, one on
the right, and one on the left.

looking at the oil tank there are 2 large connections one at the top.
and one at the bottom.

I assume the suction side of the oil pump goes to the bottom of the
oil tank, and the oil pump dicharge goes to the top of the oil tank.

I just don't remember which is the oil pump suction, and which is the
oil pump discharge.'
