Young Eagle Credits

Post by Cy Galley »

'Did you fly 10 or more Young Eagles last year. What are you going to use
your credits for?

My EAA Chapter 75 can use them as we are sending at our expense, not one but
three young people to EAA Air Adventure camp at Oshkosh. EAA gives us a
dollar credit towards the $1000 tuition for each Young Eagle credit we turn
in. Your credits are not good for anything else so if your chapter isn't
sending anyone, please consider helping us with our three.

Please send the signed credits to:

Richard Lowe
2317 E 48th Street
Davenport, IA 52807

Thanks,

Cy Galley - Chair,
AirVenture Emergency Aircraft Repair
A Service Project of Chapter 75
EAA Safety Programs Editor - TC
EAA Sport Pilot'

'EAA sends out a certificate at the end of each year telling you how many Young Eagles you flew if it is more than 10. This certificate when signed by the pilot can be used to offset the tuition of the air Academy Camps that EAA holds. A one dollar offset is given for each Young Eagle flown. Chapter 75 is send 3 young people to this academy this summer... We can use about 1500 flight credits as a corporation (Jaguar) will provide EAA the dollar up to half the tuition cost.
