I think Ed Wegner (Sheboygan, WI) had a Beech-Roby on his 24 at one
point.

'I have a Beech Roby on my Luscombe that I bought NOS from the current Type Certificate Holder. Can't remember the name just now but do a search on the internet for Beech Roby and you will find him. If you cannot e-mail me back and I will find his info. for you. The prop works perfectly and I found the seller to be great to deal with. Just Remembered...Kent Tarver in (Fallon, NV?)

'Hello to whomever you are,

I have a Beech controllable prop on my 1939 Fairchild 24 K. It is
VERY different from a Beech Robey. Mine has a manual crank. I have
a field approved 337 for the installation to a 200hp Ranger.

'Bob, How does your plane preform with the beech. I have a 1939 short nose Fairchild 24 NC20628. I think I found a beech prop but does not have the crank or linkage. I've never seen one before on a fairchild. would the linkage be hard to make. Jeff
