Warner 145 Piston

Post by mcclurebill@rocketmail.com »

'I posted much the same item on the board a few days ago, but thought I'd add another. I'm still trying to find 145 pistons, 4 ring design. I just need two more, I have 5. I have tried just about everyone remotely connected with Warners, in all aircraft types. So far, no luck. I can't help but feel, tho, that there are still some of these sitting on a shelf somewhere. If anyone can think of someone who might possibly help, please let me know.

Also, I have located a set of servicable 3 ring pistons. Can anyone help me with the difference in operation: service life, oil consumption difference vs. 4 ring?

Many thanks.
