'Hey Dan.

I need a set also. I had the front set fall of in flight this weekend. I picked a 24R up in ABQ and flew it back (PHX) for some fabric work. Noticed it started to run funny when I backed off the power and also on the ground. I got out and noticed ALOT of exhaust stains and then noticed the stacks were broken off and missing!

So if you guys know who is making new ones let me know. If no one is. I will get them made up for everyone.

Regards,

'Hy everybody!

As I am reading your message about exhaust stacks...our F24R is flying only with 6
straight short stainless steel pipes, but if we could find one day two "3 in 1" exhaust
systems it could be funny (and much more authentic!).
I already know that an american manufacturer is remanufacturing some new one (at Aircraft
Exhaust System: www.aircraftexhaustsys.com) but after consulting their website I didn't
succeed in sending a message to them. So, if somebody could tell me a price (if possible
for stainless steel 3in1 exhaust)??

(For instance we do own only an old rear 3in1 pipe with connecting pipe to carburetor
heating system)

'Ted & Dan,

Try Aircraft Exhaust Systems Inc. Jumping Branch WV. 1-800-227-5951. They
make Ranger exhaust systems and they are made out of stainless steel. I
just heard about Ground Support Mfg. two days ago. I do not know whatthey
make theirs out of. Wag-Aero makes them but, they are mild steel.

'Guys,

I am talking to Aircraft Exhaust. So far they only have the single outlet style. If needed I will ship them my 3 in one stack and go from there. I have not looked for a drawing on the CD yet.

'Greetings from Buckingham Army Airfield, Jamie just flew my 24 up to
Sun&Fun, a little over two hours from Ft Myers, with new exhaust pipes from
Aircraft Exhaust Systems. They look great, easy to fit, and the set on My
19 are over eighteen years old with no problems. Bob Haas

'So, one more very good adress to have nice parts for nicer planes!
But, could somebody ask them, if the rear stacks section has the connecting hole/pipe for
carburetor heating-pipe?
(As I am in France the difference in time is a little bit too much important for me to
phone easily thereby!...maybe will I try... if I could have time this night!)
Thanks for all those good informations!
