'We have an extra rudder here which seems to NOT be off an F-24 c8c.
It is a good bit taller and a bit deeper near the tip. It has several distinttive features.
It has a piece of rod at the tip top in line with the hinge pins
which I am guessing is a mounting point for a swiveling wire antenna ...

'The F-24 I have been working on has a non-tapered axle and it
had a simple cast aluminum collar with a cross bolt to retain it
