When the metal is preped as required by the powder coating it has less chance of corroding than if preped for paint.
Powder coating is a better protection than paint and has a much less chance of being broken and allowing corrosive material ...

'So does paint, at about the same rate. After all, powder coating is only powdered paint applied by heat.

'Attach an arm lift crane to the Tripod junction and lift from there. a 2 inch strap does a nice job of attachment.
After the gear leg is off, you can place a regular tripod jack under the forward gear leg attachment fitting, the CG is right at the forward wing spar, so it will set there OK ...
