Also check for anything bent back there, if the pivot axis is not tipped sufficiently aft at the top, it will shake violently (kind of like a defective shopping cart castor). 'That's the stuff - a tube will last you a millenium, but once you use it, you'll never understand how you ever got by without it. I had a gascolator that would not stop leaking no matter what I did - new plunger, new orings, nothing. Then someone suggested this stuff - has not leaked since - 7 year...
