'it is not just the snap ring! the hub may be the kind that does not use one . also the nut must have the groove as well as the hub for the snap ring. look on the hub for a tag " Warner and the number"one type uses the snap ring one doesn't[ I think the 79XX uses the snap; the 85..or 88.. ...

'over here a part for a certified aircraft that is readily available "PMA" has to be used. One cannot make and put on as ower approved mfg. The are available from parts houses here and John Duncan has them. have the part tested as part of your acceptance agreement of it. ------------------...
