'Jamie,
I might have one . It's still attached to a PT-19 engine mount. I'll check and get back to you.

Re: ST250 LANDING LIGHT
'Jim, I believe I saw a 24volt model at the Blakesburg fly-in in the Fly market. It was along the east wall on a shelf. I looked at it hoping it was a 12v model. Give Brent or Ben a call at the Antique Airplane Association. I'm looking to acquire a spare 12v sealed beam myself. The Tiger Boys had ...

Re: UC61K 10 inch Tail Wheel Tire and Tube
'Frank, I use the straight stem tube from Desser in my Variety wheel. It's a little tough to deal with, but I use a valve stem extender of about 3 inches that I screw onto the tube for check and fill. I keep a spare extender in my tool bag for when I'm out flying about. I'm running about 60# nitr...

Re: 10" Tailwheel
'Frank,
I believe I have a spare Variety wheel assy. The only 10.00SC tires that you can get are either Chinese or Polish. They are marked with metric numbers. I do know that the axle in my wheel assy is junk. Looks very homemade.

Re: Ranger Hot Box Tubes
'Jim,
I believe there's a service bulletin doing away with the tubes because it overheated the intake and they also carboned up. Most I see today are plugged.

'Bob, I was looking through the postings and saw Kansas City mentioned. I knew Leonard Specht in his later years. Quite a character. What might be of interest is that his F-24 was sold/donated to the Combat Air Museum in Topeka. It;s listed now as a UC-61. Info is available on their website. Steve L...

'Clarence, I believe your best bet would be to contact Tarver Propeller as they are about the only folks who will mess with the Beech-Roby The AD says something about removing the screws that hold the wood blade to the hub. The Beech isn't really a constant speed, just adjustable in flight. I was su...
