Re: Shoulder Harness mod for Fairchild 24R

'Thanks Bob and Dan, That's the information I was looking for. I guess I did not make that very clear (I am aware of the AC), but wanted to know if anyone had instructions (337)in their records before the AC was put out. I know some of the older aircraft have STC's from companies that have a package...

Re: Shoulder Harness mod for Fairchild 24R

'Thanks for the response Bob. I did find the AC that covers this, AC 21-34. I am an IA, but wanted to see what others were using; harness type, installation details, etc, from previous installations. Thanks for the input. I'll remove the cover from the cross over tube (overhead) and see what kind of...

Shoulder Harness mod for Fairchild 24R

'Does anyone have information or copies of previously approved 337's on adding shoulder harness's to the pilot and copilot seats? I would like to understand what belt and harness combination has been succesful and what was used as the attach point. I haven't had much luck locating STC's for the F24 ...

Re: Curtis Reed Props on the Ranger's

'The 337 was submitted in 1991 and approved in 1992 and authorizes the use of the 55518-10 Curtis Reed Prop. It references the installations on the Ranger powered Widgeon, Gulfstream American, and the PT-26 with the Ranger 6-440-C5 engine. Hate to react to rumors and legend and remove/sell the Curti...

Re: Curtis Reed Props on the Ranger's

'There is an approved 337 for this installation in the aircraft historical documents (thinkit's from the 60's if I remember right). It sounds like there is enough controversy that I will take it off and replace witht he wooden prop. I will lose a little performance, but certainly not worth losing a ...
