'The 145 mount is completely different...the fuselage tubing extends out
past the firewall to taper...with a circular tube mount attached. The 165
mount starts right at the firewall and detaches from the firewall. The
dishpans are also completely different with the 145 being a tapered cone ...

I'm in the midst of restoration of a 1937 24G...have both a 145 Warner
mount...removed from the fuselage...and a 165 mount...for the conversion.
Maybe you could make a copy.

unacceptable fashion...and I can use them as patterns for a do-over. When
I dis-assemble them I will make patterns.

The wood chosen looks like pine....the worksmanship (by a hired hand)
turned out to be very poor ...
