Re: Air / Oil Separators for Ramnger engine.

'Hi Jamie,

my air/oil is going in an experimental. question, when you install
yours I assume the big vent (on top of motor mid way to front) goes
to the separator input, the output is obvious and the oil return is
obvious. What is done with the "small vent" (near the vacuum pump)
do you ...

engine. what is done with the "vent pipe" at the back next to

More silly questions?

'Hi,,, looking to install the oil cooler. I have a yellow tagged and
OH'd cooler from a lycoming setup. Can I use this cooler, or is the
cooler particular to the ranger.

I'm looking in the Ranger instruction book and the schematic mentions
a "thermostatic by-pass valve" and I want to make ...

Oil hose questions

'Hi all,,, just finished mounting my "original" ranger oil tank on my
project.

original fittings on the tank. soooo would need a "slip on and clamp"
style of hose. The fittings are 1 inch diameter would a 1 inch ID dim ...

rotation direction (from Pilot seat prosective) on my 440... but all
my manuals and stuff are at the hangar.

So rather than make a mistake,,, I'm asking the question
