'Hey Guys.....This from Jay Herrin (jayherrin@bellsouth.net) and also “ peachtreecitybiplanes.com .”
I kinda keep an eye on your website as my Meyers OTW has a Warner 165 and you are a great resource for Warner questions. This note however, is to let everyone know of a gem of a 1953 Cessna 195 that ...

Motor Mounts

'Robert..... Many thanks for your note. I really don't want to remove the engine to replace the mounts. I am sending a few pictures to better show my problem. Any ideas are MOST appreciated!
Thanks,

Re: Warner 165 Engine rubber mounts

'Wow! Great response! Thanks and I will continue this effort. Why was I thinking I could use an engine hoist, take the weight off the engine mounts, remove and replace them? Must be a little more involved.......Keep you posted.Jaybird

Re: Cruise RPM?

'Thanks for the replies......My Meyers does not use a manifold pressure gauge just a tachometer. Takeoff RPM is about 2050-75 and cruise is somewhere between 1600-1900.I prefer the lower RPM'S as I use the airplane in my sightseeing business but don't want to do any permanent damage to my engine ...

'Buell.......Your note on line sparked my interest again. I searched the part # and sent a note to Fresno Airparts. They showed it online but I have not heard back from them on availability.

Hard Brake Pedals!

'Hello all.......I hope someone can offer a suggestion. I have a Meyers "OTW" with PT-19 brakes. In my effort to get a little more "feel" in the pedals, I sent both Master Cylinders off and had them rebuilt. All is well up top with no leaks.

The pedals are very hard and when pushed hard enough ...
