'I got the exact size copper washers for my PT-19 at NAPA auto parts. I just took the old banjo washers in, and they matched them.

I have an extra top rear deck assembly, part no. 605025-1 shown in Fig. 56, Airplane Parts Catalog for PT-19, PT-19A and others. It is all wood construction and needs a little glue work.

I experienced the same problem of no clearance with both wheels with new brake blocks. However, I had installed new old stock expander tubes so it was not swelled tubes which caused the problem. I think that the blocks were manufactured a littlle too thick so that they could be turned ...

'I have two PT nosebowls, and the hole for the prop shaft is different. One is 3-1/2 in. in diameter and the other is 4-1/4. They both appear to be done by the factory. I presume that the larger hole is a later design to provide more clearance for the prop hub, but I'm not sure of that. Does anyone ...
