'That's what I thought, but have recently seen two Rangers with metal props. One was a F-24 for sale at Courtesy Aircraft that advertised a metal Hartzell and another one a Starduster Too. Tailwheel Connecting Link

'I have a '39 F24. How much play should be in the tailwheel connecting
link where it attaches to the fuselage? I seem to have excessive side
to side wobble as if the bolt holes are elongated at the fusealge
