'Yes they can be remetalized. I found a shop here in the Seattle area that will do it(they do 985 cylinders for a local shop), but as I recall it wasn't cheap.

'As someone else mentioned there should be a cover over the stem. In most cases it's "solid" wheel with only a slot opening for the stem and a small curved over held in place by two screws, one at each end. See the parts catalog, page 47.

'All the PTs are certified for 50lbs max baggage(at plus 98 inches). The baggage compartment for the -19 and -26 is the same size and location, aft of the rear seat. The difference is access to the -26 is from inside the canopy through a much smaller opening than the side opening on the -19. Makes ...
