Re: Fw: [fairchildclub] Yahoo shutting down groups

Dan: A small request... Could you add a Miscellaneous sub forum under the Types? I'm the oddball, with the AT-21, and I don't fit under the listed types. It's possible one of these days to maybe get some of the C-82 and -119 guys to be a part of the group too.

Re: Yahoo shutting down groups...

'For me, Facebook is a non-starter. Where I work, we have too many
security issues that have arisen from employees and their FB accounts.
It doesn't matter whether an employee is accessing it from home or work,
the same issues keep showing up.... work related comments that should

Re: Yahoo shutting down groups...

'Anyone looked at what we are going to do when Yahoo shuts down and
purges the groups section?

Allegedly, all content and files will go away within the next two weeks
or so.

Pete: Would you be willing to make a few color chip cards with some of the waste paint when you do some painting? My AT has a couple of different versions of the Bronze-Green primer on various pieces and I'd like to see what you came up with before I get serious about chasing formulas.
I don't ...

David: Good deal. Make sure you take some photos as things are laid out and going back together. Photos and some descriptions as things progress ( good or bad) are worth a lot to?? helping anyone else that needs to make one.

for a 1" jeweler's saw with the correct blade width. I know that they

Re: Inspection stamps

'Does anyone have any good, high resolution photos of wartime Fairchild
PT or UC aircraft parts inspection stamps, or would be willing to make
some for me? I have a couple of Bellanca ones for my AT-21, but I need
some from Fairchild.? My AT was the 2nd one produced by Bellanca, and
knowing ...

There is one of a pair on fleabay right now...https://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/RARE-Fairchild-Moonglo-Aviation-Plane-Instrument-Illuminator-203-E-w-Orig-Bulb-/112250751197
Looks like a 456 bulb would be the 24 volt replacement for the GE 57 14 volt.

Re: E-mail people list.

Hi Mike, I only had two people respond back about getting the email version. I'm going to poke at each and every person this time to find out if they get it and can open it.
I do have a number of additional people that have indicated interest in getting it via email and I need to run that list ...

Re: Inspection stamps

'I have a request to those of the group that are restoring, or have done
so, Fairchilds that were built during WW2. I'm specifically looking for
info on inspection stamps. If anyone has parts with inspection stamps,
