Kinner
'I know this isn't technically a Fairchild question, but some of you have airplanes made by other manufacturers so i thought I would ask. Do any of y'all have any Kinner K5 parts collecting dust anywhere? Heads, carbs, mags, barrels, etc etc etc. Any leads to the secret K5 stash? thanks, Charley'

Re: Sparkplug question
'Muchas Gracias, I am not in a wild panic to replace them, as a matter of fact, they are pretty neat, but I know necissity may one day dictate a modern plug. Charley --- In fairchildclub@yahoogroups.com, "cgalley" wrote: > > Have you tried the plugguy? http://www.plugguy.com/ 1-800-758-448...

Re: Sparkplug question
'Yessir, I have talked with them and they don't have any 417-S plugs. I know what the designations mean on the Champ. plugs, but am unsure what other BG plugs will work in the holes I've got with the harness I've got. Maybe I was asking them the wrong question. I'll call em up tomorrow and see what ...

Anybody have an opinion on...
'Hey fellas,
I have heard two schools of thought on using shorter stubbed exhaust on
Ranger engines instead of the 3 cylinder collectors. One school says it's no
trouble, another says you shock cool the valves. Which is right?

'Does anyone know where I may find an American Cirrus engine or Wright
