I would like to purchase the drawings for the tailwheel components. Mike mentioned he has them. What is the process?

Re: Ranger Rebuilders
There was someone at Oshkosh with a 24 who, I was told, bought John Ellis’ business. I tried to connect with him but was unable. Perhaps someone knows about this.

Carburetor Overhaul and Fuel Strainer
I have a 200 HP Ranger L-440-C5 with a Stromberg Carburetor. I believe it is a NAR4B. It is leaking, and the venturi is loose. Can anyone recommend an overhaul shop? I also need a new fuel strainer. Any sources? The existing one is Lukenheimer.

Primer Shut Off Valve
Hello,
I have a 1938 24K currently in annual inspection. The primer SOV is leaking. The assembly is AN890-11 with a cock assy (P/N: 1665) and pump (P/N: 1664). Does anyone have these parts, know of a rebuilder, or have experience overhauling them? Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Hayes axle
The Smithsonian has complete drawings for everything. You can order the list of available drawings, and then order what you need. https://airandspace.si.edu/sites/defaul ... 100415.pdf

Service Bulletin to install cables on oleo struts
I have been told there is a Service Bulleting to install cables on the oleo struts to prevent them from going through their full extension. Does anyone have a copy of this bulletin, or know the bulletin number?

Oil cap, filler tube and cap, or complete tank
I need an oil cap for my 200 HP Ranger 6-440- C5. I would buy the cap, or an assembly which includes the cap.

Re: Flap noise
I looked in my Maintenance, Parts, and Operations Handbook. While the anti-howl strip is mentioned in the wing flap section, it is not depicted in the drawing. What year is your 24? Mine is a 1938 24K. When I get to the hangar, I can look and take some pictures. If you can email me at jim@thelevines ...
