Re: Fuel Senders
I am still fighting my fuel sender battle. The inspection holes weren't placed where they should be and I will have to patch the wings. Not happy. I would love to see how you bent your float arms. I pulled old senders (they were different) and shaped my float arms to wrap 180 degrees so full and emp...

Re: Fuel Senders
Cameron,
Thanks for all the help. I just got my senders in and need to figure out how to reverse the resistance. It looks like the 385C-F senders are made to hang in top of a tank. So, Full and empty resistance values reversed. Is there an easy way to change this?

F24 replacing GEN with ALT wiring
I have installed Jasco 6555T and it came with Plane Power R1224 regulator. New install instructions don't mention the ammeter. Behind my panel is a lot of mess. Old wiring diagram shows #10 wire to ammeter. Someone replaced with what looks like 12 gauge. My question is for those who have converted t...

Re: Fuel Senders
Cameron: I have a choice of 2 inspection holes to cut. Don't want to cut any more than I have to. In relation to the filler opening, on top, where are senders, laterally? Outboard or inboard? Looking at the tank drawing, I see no indication. That is, a view from front or rear. I am glad to hear insp...

Re: Fuel Senders
Thanks, Cameron. My wings were re-covered in 2018 (before I owned it). I now need to figure out best way to get to senders. I have used Stits Poly system on non-structural parts of an experimental, but will seek help in cutting into these. I have some un-cut inspection holes that may be close, but I...
