Re: Tailwheel Axle Bolt
Ray: Unfortunately the IPB's just give an internal code for a number of the tailwheel parts. There is a reference in the books, that states that there were various suppliers for each size wheel and tire and tube. Mike Kelly might have some reference somewhere that can translate that code into ...

Re: Tailwheel Axle Bolt
Ray: What are you working on? For the PT series, there were 3 different tailwheels used, depending on serial number.

Re: Policy changes due to spam
Thanks Brian, A couple of other boards I'm on have had to do the whack-a-mole thing and ended up going to a blanket, unwritten/unvoiced policy of moderating the first 5 to 10 posts of new members. Those that played nice, were dropped off the moderation list at the minimum and those that were ...

Re: PT-26 Paint Color
Greg: You need to dig into the log for your aircraft and see if there is any paint info in there. There are dozens of different paints that could have been used and not all are top coat compatible.

Re: PT 26 wing bolts
Check with Mike and see if he has the bolt drawings. I know the Air Corps Library does not have them. In the meantime, I'll look thru the AT-21 drawings for the bolts for it. Same design, but different sizes, so the material callouts, threading information and heat treat should be the same.

Re: F-24W N15995
That s/n comes up being an F-24C-8E, N64583. Best bet is write the FAA and get the original N number file. N15995 is currently on a Cherokee 140.

Re: Drawings Wanted
Check with Jamie Treat, as he maintains the set available thru the club. I don't know where they originated, or how complete they are, but worth talking to him.

Re: Beech Electic Prop
Hi Bart, I just came across this. I still own Ed's fairchild but I ran into the same problem with my Aeromatic. I removed it and am looking for someone to overhaul it. I have a sensenich on it for the time being. Ever find someone to work an aeromatic? That was an awesome prop. Lost about 15 mph ...
